FOCUS

Wow can you believe January is already over !! This month has been full of ups and downs for me so I am happy she has come and gone. Although I spent most of my free time at the hospital with DH I did get to play with my scrappin supplies .....I created this LO for the Sista Crop January challenge...I had to design a layout with my favorite colors, paper, etc and include one key word that means something to me, flowers, bling and journaling. I have to work on the journaling thing but I got it done. I also completed another challenge for the cricut board group "sistahs scrap too" I will post that later. Tell me what you think I love comments!!

Photo Collage

I finally completed my Mosiac for the Photo Challenge hosted by  EssenceVibez aka Pam. I really had fun running around with my camera all day, It made my work day really fun!! I even got a few crazy looks when taking pictures at stop lights and while eating lunch.

Fun Today

Boy oh Boy did I have fun today taking my photo's for the PHOTO EVERY HOUR Challenge hosted by Essence Vibez.  I will post my photo's tomorrow.  In the mean time I came home and created a card.

CHALLENGE: PHOTO AN HOUR--


1. Grab your camera--take it with you--if you need me to send a text message for a reminder, let me know---hahahaha!

2. Every hour, take a picture of your everyday surroundings --whether at home or work or grocery store-at the bank--at the stop light--you get the picture!!

3. NO NUDITY ALLOWED--ya'll know i don't flow like that!!--KEEP IT REAL!!!

4. After you're finished, upload ALL your photos on BIG HUGE LAB MOSAIC MAKER and save it--

5. Email your photo to  Me or EssenceVibez by Friday January 15th, 2010-- i will put a post up saturday with everyone's results--and yes, you can post them on your blog {you know you want to}

6. It's very, very, very important for you to have FUN with this--stress is NOT in the equation--

HOT FLASHES

Ok here is a little funny tidbit about my life.  Last night I was teaching a 5 hour class and those darn hot flashes kept interrupting me..so i just started fanning and more fanning and more fanning and they went away....For a little while...Then another one came back and It was so bad that sweat was pouring down my face and this young guy sitting in front of the class leaned over and said "mam are you ok? Do you need to take a break? I just laughed and said oh no I'm fine but we will take a break..at this point all the ladies in the class who understood what i was going through were laughing with me (not at me) and said they understand and were wondering how long I would last before I needed to run for some cold air!!  When I came back the ladies told me the broke down the situation for the brother and he now understood the real facts of life!!

New Week

Well I hope everyone had a relaxing weekend!!  I know I did....DH and I did nothing together all day today..Tomorrow is our 22nd anniversary!  WOW how time flies....anywhoooooo
